Hitoshi tends to act mysterious, in some ways. He only has a handful of friends, most of which he doesn't even talk to that much. He is usually seen practicing. However, when he does talk to someone, his personality somewhat changes. It's like he's not the same person. When he is just walking, or something, his eyes look almost completely emotionless, and also as if they hunger for light. But when he is actually talking to someone, he normally seems pretty happy. Maybe it's because he seems entirely emotionless that he doesn't have many friends?
Background/RP Sample
Background:
On the day Hitoshi died, he was 18, and a senior in high school, about to graduate. He was a bit nervous, and depressed a bit about college, and leaving behind his friends. His grades had been dropping a bit over the past few weeks as well. Nobody knew what was wrong with him. After school one day, he was walking home with a friend. A few days earlier, there had been an article in the newspaper about some homicidal freak around the neighborhood, but Hitoshi didn't think he would be around, but his friend, however, didn't want to go that way. Hitoshi talked her out of it, and they continued. That was his mistake. The killer had been watching them from afar, and thought it would be an easy kill. He started following them for about a block, and then sprinted up behind them and slit the girls throat. Hitoshi was so shocked, he couldn't move. He just froze up. The killer turned toward him, and stabbed him right in the middle of the chest. He fell backwards and stared up at the sky.
He couldn't do anything about it. His vision began to blur and then regain focus. This kept up for awhile, but withing 5 minutes, he had lost too much blood and died right there, on the spot. The next thing he knew, he was a soul. He stood there, watching over his body, although he didn't know that it was him. Hitoshi lost all of his previous memories. He saw a dead girl on the ground as well. There was another girl that resembled the dead one as well. Same clothes, same hair, same face. The only different was that she had a chain on her chest. Just like him. He couldn't come to think of who she was either. He had a bunch of different emotions mixed in his head. The girl eventually asked him who he was. He told her. It seemed like they were in similar situations. Hitoshi and the girl went to go look for help soon after and it appeared as if no one could hear them, let alone see them. They were just about to ask someone else, when a hollow came out of nowhere and cut the girl across the chest, leaving three large cuts. She lied there on the ground as the hollow slowly walked over to her.
Again, Hitoshi could do nothing but sit their. He felt so useless as he watched the hollow eat her. When it came over to eat him, he knew it was the end. But just as it was about to bite him, it split in half and disappeared. There was a man dressed in black around twenty feet away. At first, he though that he might have been the one that killed it, but he figured that would make no sense. The man dressed in black came up to him and hit him in the forehead with the bottom of the hilt. Everything began to fade away. When he finally woke up, he was in Rukongai. He was in shock at first. He started to explore the town and started looking for help. After he had asked around, he figured out that he was a soul and that something called a 'Shinigami' had saved him. While still depressed about the girl that had died, he asked how he could become a Shinigami. He was told that only special people with high reiatsu could enter the Shinigami Academy. Ever since then, he had searched for ways to train
this so-called 'reiatsu'. After years and years of training, he was now ready to become a Shinigami.
RP Sample:
Ryoumi walked into the halls of Las Noches for the first time that day.He looked around at all the other Arrancar. They payed no attention to Ryoumi. He shoved his hands into his pocket and walked further into the casle. He wasn't sure what he needed to do yet. He evenatually found a huge door and he felt many reiatsu in there. "Guess this is where I need to go.." Ryoumi said, and placed his hand on the door. Just as he was about to push it open, an Arrancar Sonidoed behind him and placed a hand on Ryoumi's shoulder, "Hold it, who are you?" Ryoumi payed now attention to him and began opening the door. The Arrancar tightened his grip on Ryoumi's shoulder, "I asked you a question!" Ryoumi began to
get pissed and slammed his fist into the Arrancar's gut and then grabbed his head and slammed it into the wall. "I couldn't care less about what you say." He pulled the Arrancar up to his feet and put his hand to his face. A red beam formed in his hand and he fired it into the Arrancar's face, causing a huge explosion. Ryoumi wiped the blood off his face and then stepped into the room as if nothing had happened.

Sealed Zanpakuto: A traditional Japanese katana with a red hilt.
Shikai: Naraku Kasai is a long, black katana. It has 5 white symbols on it. However, they are meaningless in Shikai.
Shikai Ability:
Manipulation of fire - The name says it all.
Shoukyaku - Hitoshi pours his reiatsu into his sword, charging it up and then fire will shoot out of the sword and surround his opponent. With enough reiatsu, Hitoshi can choose to use it as an arena. But otherwise, the fire will just close in and burn the enemy.
Moeagaru - This technique will cause Hitoshi's sword to burst into flames. The flames are extremely hot so that if it even touches you, it will begin to burn through your skin. It can also cut through nearly anything, besides a zanpakuto. The one downside of this technique is that if he uses any other ability, this one is canceled.
Okibi - This technique will allow Hitoshi to fire off a quick wave of fire, fireball, or anything along those lines. Although the fire is very hot, the most it can do is leave some pretty bad burns. Unless the opponent is pretty badly injured, it's usually not life threatening.
