Appearance: Ichirou is of short height with a slim build. His blond hair is spiked, one particularly large spike emerging into the air. For this reason, Ichirou's spiked hair has become one of the trademarks of his appearance.The clothing consists of simple pants with a no-sleeved shirt, which are white in color, and a belt. Ichirou also wears black boots and gauntlets with a single pauldron over his left shoulder.

Personality: Personality-wise, Ichirou is a stubborn, short-tempered, occasionally confrontational, spontaneous, determined, outspoken, strong-willed, impulsive young man. Despite being witty and cynical, he is shown to be genuinely compassionate and empathetic about others such as bringing a a homeless girl flowers or soothing others when they become doubtful. He is also extremely protective of his friends and family. This latter trait is the driving force behind most of his actions and almost all of the things he has done. He attempts to maintain a detached and "cool" image, despite claiming to not care about what other people think about him. However, despite this "tough guy" image he tries to maintain, he becomes extremely shy and uncomfortable around nude or immodestly dressed women.

Background: Ichirou was walking home from school one day when he saw a girl from one of his classes. He never really talked to her and figured now would be a good time to be friends. She turned a corner and Ichirou ran to catch up. Though when he too turned the corner he didn't see her, but heard a scream to his right. He was shocked...the scene before him was horribal. The girl was on her stomach and blood was oozing out of a wound that Ichirou didn't see. He saw the man who did it and went back to his wild..rash behavior. He charged the man with his fist balled ready to hit him. But someone got to him first. Something nailed Shidou in the back and he fell forward stunned. Before he even hit the floor a flash of silver clocked him int the head and the world began spinning int darkness.

He woke up and felt something warm and wet around him. It was blood. To his left and right were dirt walls and above him was a blue sky. He saw three men standing out side of the pit he was in. One was the man who murdered the girl, the other too held baseball bats. "So thats what hit me." he thought to himself. Then he felt a pulse and looked to his left. It was the girl! She was still alive! The man must have seen because he pulled out a gun...aimed at her and fired. Ichirou rolled over on top of her on his hands and knees. Something impaled him in the back and Ichirou screamed in pain. It was a bullet. Pain ripped through his body like fire. A second shot fired, and a third, and a fourth. Each more horribal than the other.

He looked down at the girl. "I don't know if you can hear me...but I won't let you suffer" Ichirou began to fight for breath. One of those bullets had hit his lungs. "I will share your pain...I will not let you die alone!" he screamed. Then the fifth shot fired and Ichirou rolled onto his back next to the girl. He stared at the man, who had a grin on his face and I wild look on his face. Ichirou quickly annilized he was on drugs. His to henchmen began shoveling dirt over Ichirou and the girl, the girls name he finally remembered. He held her hand and whispered, "I won't let you die alone..." The girl stopped breathing and died with a smile on her face and a tear running down her face. Ichirou closed his eyes and whispered her name for the first time. "Setsuna....was your name..." He said with warmth as the last light of day faded under the cold dark soil that now covered them.....


Innate Ability

Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Though he rarely engages in it Ichirou appears to be highly skilled in swordsmanship. He is capable of using his speed for flawless precision and to inflict lethal attacks without much effort. Ichirou prefers to wield his sword with his right hand, leaving the other hand free though it usually remains in his pocket.

Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Ichirou has shown to rely mostly on hand-to-hand combat, rarely drawing his sword at all. His rival speculates that he only draws his sword against opponents he considers "worthy". Ichirou also seems to prefer applying an 'off-the-ground' method of combat, often being seen attacking opponents from aerial standpoints, such as when he attempted to use his Cero on an offending Captain by attacking him from the air above his head, or when he jumped upwards with a Sonído in an attempt to catch another Captain off guard. His trademark attack towards prey that he likes is to impale an opponent in the chest and gouge a hole in them in the same place as his own.

Sonído Master: Ichirou's skill and speed in Sonído is so great that it seems as though he possesses a form of teleportation as he moves in the blink of an eye, simply "appearing" solidly instead of shimmering for a second like other Sonído users.

Keen Intellect: In addition to his remarkable combat prowess, Ichirou is also gifted with great insight and understanding to situations at hand.

Bala: This technique hardens the user's spiritual pressure and fires it like a bullet from their fist. Ichirou's is Rose colored.

Enhanced Hierro: While not openly stated, it has been seen repeatedly that Ichirou's skin is highly durable even by Arrancar standards. He can deflect attacks of similar power barehanded. He is able to fight vizards in their Hollow form without unsheathing his sword, rendering them defenseless with two attacks and not sustaining injuries of any kind.

Enhanced Pesquisa: The Arrancar ability to sense spiritual energy. While any Arrancar can learn it, Ichirou has shown impressive skill with it. From a single glance at his opponent, Ichirou can immediately determine how powerful his opponent is

Enhanced Strength: Ichirou has shown to have incredibal strength for his build. Being able to upturn massive rocks with the swing of his sword.

Garganta: Garganta is how Arrancar move to and from Hueco Mundo. Ichirou has the ability to use the technique. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway.

High-Speed Regeneration: Despite having great attack power and speed, Ichirou's greatest strength isn't offensive but his regenerative power. Ichirou states that it is his greatest power, one which most Arrancar give up in return for greater strength. He explains that he can quickly regenerate any part of his body except for his brain and Internal organs. However, this power also requires that he had sufficient spiritual energy.

Cero:Ichirou has demonstrated to be able to use Cero. His cero is not the normal red color, but rather a blue Color.

Cero Obolisk: Ichirou uses his right hand to unleash a barrage of Ceros simultaneously that, because of their density and grouping, appear to fuse together into one large Cero blast. He is able to change the direction of this attack during firing, making it extremely difficult to avoid. Ichirou is able to fire multiple Ceros at the speed of a Bala technique.

Immense Spiritual Power: As one of, if not the strongest Espada, he possesses tremendous spiritual power. Ichirou is forbidden to release his Zanpakutō inside of Las Noches, as such a release could destroy the fortress. His spiritual energy is yellow. As a Hollow, he was apparently unintentionally killing other Hollows just by being near them.

Highly Perceptive Combatant: Ichirou has demonstrated an ability to be very detail oriented when it comes to fighting. He notices his opponent's mannerisms and discerns with ease the reasons behind those actions and the weaknesses and strengths of his opponents. He is also able to look at unfamiliar attacks and figure out the way they work just by viewing at least once.

Resurreccion Information

Name: Zetsumei

Release Phrase: Shatter the souls of the dearly departed, Zetsumei.

Element/Family: Reiatsu

Represent: Mercenary Soilder.

Sealed Resurreccion: He wields a sword which takes the form of a normal katana. It sports a pewter-colored rectangular guard, with small protrusions on each corner, and a sun-like design wrapped around the hilt's collar. The hilt itself is a yellow color, and the sheath is a metallic-black color.

Released Resurreccion: His clothing consists of a high collar indigo shirt with no sleeves, black pants and boots, and black cloth covering his left leg and arm; Ichirou also gains an entirely new pauldron, and his chest is covered by two straps, held in place by a badge representing Fenrir, the animal that has come to be associated with Ichirou. (Once this form is released, it cannot be re-sealed.)

Resurreccion Special Ability:

Techniques

Lions: Ichirou is able to summon a pack of lions seemingly numbering in the hundreds. The lions are controlled verbally by Starrk and will chase down the enemy with the intent to cling via a bite. Upon biting the enemy or getting close enough, the wolves erupt in explosions of varying size and power. They're capable of being very destructive, as when one exploded, it destroyed a large area of Karakura town in a huge column of explosion which dwarfed the surrounding buildings. Ichirou seems to be able to summon them without limit, thus overwhelming the enemy with their sheer numbers. These wolves are apparently pieces of Ichirou's soul that they are able to split apart and control in battle.

Wendeka-Kenkai: This attack is similar to the Getsuga Tensho, but has diffrent effects. It takes his own spirtual pressure and forces it into his Zanpakuto, he then swings forward creating a massive wave of yellow spirit energy.

Onizara-Kenkai: This causes the ground withen a 2 mile radius, to glow with yellow with spiritual energy. Ichirou then stabs his sword into the ground causing lightning and spirit energy to erupt from the entire 2 miles and shoot upward into the sky, anything caught withen the blast is incenerated or very badly burned.

Zinshi: Ichirou points his sword at an on-coming attack and creates an oval shaped yellow shield of solidified energy.

Kagaro:Is an offense attack the shoots out hundreds of thousands of needle shaped solidified energyout of the shield 'Zinshi' that is capable or shredding it's target to bits.

Kagenosima-Ichirou aims the tip of his sword at his opponent and fires a massize bolt of yellow elecricity that has shown capable of incinerating anything in it's path.

Kinto Kenkai:Ichirou swings his Zanpakutou downwards and lightning blows out from each of the tip. The resulting blast is strong enough to cave in buildings within 4 miles.

Shinikamoto:Ichirou spinds the sword in his hand, the blade becomes energized and lightning shoots from all sides as he then slams them into the ground. The ground begins to shake as multiple electric spears shoot from the ground at varied angles to to trap the opponent in a prison of flames or pierce through the opponents body to critically injure them.

White Imperial Sword:The spiritual energy and pressure of this form released is immense. The blade appears bright white and its aura takes the form of a bird. Pure white wings form on Ichirou's back, as well as a halo-like circle, made of concentrated spiritual energy. It is unknown whether these wings are merely an aesthetic effect or if they can be used to fly. The blade in this form is dangerous enough to cause aggravated injuries in one single blow. Whether or not this form allows only one single attack or more is as yet unknown.

Saito Kusari:This form creates creates a spherical formation of over 100 million tiny blades of light in the shape of shurikin, which swirl around the opponent like a cloud. It then flies into them from every possible angle, leaving no blind spots and no possibility to escape. It then collapses on itself, obliterating the opponent. It was strong enough to completely obliterate a very large building from the inside out, and the resulting shockwave generated by the attack is so powerful that Ichirou himself has to sonido away.
